The Golden Week has started!

Do you have any plans to go out?

私は、

そうですね、大阪に2日ほど娘の様子を見にいきます👀。

それから、

本藍染矢野工場主催の

藍の展示会があるので、そのお手伝いです💪。

As for me, 

I'm going to Osaka to see my daughters、 

and stay there for 2 days. 

From May 3rd to 6th,

I'm going to help with an exhibition of indigo dyeing 

hosted by Hon Aizome Yano Kojo.

昨年は

本藍染矢野工場30周年を記念した展示会をしたのですが、

とっても好評だったんです💗。

今年も、開催することになったんですって。

お近くにいらっしゃれば、

是非来ていただきたいです～。

Last year 

the exhibition was held in commemoration of the 30 years business, 

and it was very well received.

So, my teacher decided to host the exhibition this year, too.

Please visit the exhibition if you come by Tokushima.

矢野藍秀氏の「八重の桜」をはじめ、

素晴らしい作品と、

生徒さんたちの作品が

藍商であった旧奥村家屋敷にて展示されます。

They are displayed in an old traditional house which used to be owned by
 a dealer in indigo and now is used as a museum.

A lesson of Hon Aizome Yano Kojo

久しぶりに

藍染教室へ行ってきました。

と言っても、染めの日ではないので

作務衣のshiboriチェックと、

絞りのパターンについて教えていただきました。

I visited at Hon Aizome Yano Kojo this week.

It was not the day to dye, so

my teacher checked the condition of my shibori work on Samue,

and I got some ideas of several patterns of shibori 

for my next project.

 次回は、

日傘、チュニック、スカーフ・・・

やってみたい事は次から次へ

My next project would be・・・

parasol, tunic, stoll・・・・

I want to make more and more・・・

来月4月5日に、

作務衣の染めをすることにしました。

待てないよ~

I will dye Samue indigo blue on April 5th.

I can't wait!
