「藍染って何？、知らない・・・」
え～‼？こんな質問は、予期してなかった～
最近、DMM英会話を初めまして、
自己紹介で、趣味の話をした時の
先生の反応なんです。
"What is indigo dyeing? I don't know about it."
Oh, boy!
I didn't expect such a question from my online English teachers.
I've started to brush up my English at DMM English school since last month.
It offers 25 minutes online lesson a day by Skype, and
we, students, can choose our teacher for each lesson.
殆どの先生が、藍染を知らなくて、
「藍染めについて、教えて！」と, 質問されます。

待ってました、先生その質問！
興味を持ってくれて、うれしい～
Most of my teachers didn't know about indigo dyeing,
and they asked me what indigo dyeing was.

I was looking forward to be asked the question!, and
I was glad that they were interested in it.
でも、説明って難しい
(*´Д｀)・・・
日本語だって 難しいのだから・・・。
It's not easy to explain about indigo dyeing in English.
To explain in Japanese is also not easy.

藍染について
日本語や英語で、情報を調べ、
体験を通して、
自分の言葉で説明が出来ること、
そして、
その楽しさを、
多くの人と共有することが出来たら、いいな～。

I'm studying and collecting the information about indigo dyeing now.
Through my indigo dyeing experience,
I hope I'll be able to explain it and its tradition well in English,
and
share the joy with lots of people in the world.
