Authentic indigo dyeing

教室に行くと、

一人の女性が、

体験に来ていました。

旅行会社にお勤めで、

台湾から徳島の観光地の見学に来られたのだそうです。


One day in January

There was a lady experiencing indigo dyeing

at the workshop, Hon Aizome Yano Kojo.


She works for a travel company in Tiwan,

and came here to search for the tourist spots in Tokushima prefecture.

体験されていたのは、

ろうけつ染め。

彼女が描いたのは、梅の花でしょうか？

大胆に、大きく描かれていて、

それが染め上がった藍色に負けないくらい

映えています。



Indigo dyeing with batik method was her choice to experience.

I think she drew plum flowers.

She drew them freely.

The contrast between indigo blue and white are beautiful.

「ここは、「本物の藍染め」が出来る場なのですね。」、と

彼女は確認していました。

She confirmed,

〝This is the place we can experience the authentic indigo dyeing, isn't it?"




本物の藍染め・・・、という言葉が印象的。

藍染めを　ネットで調べると、

本当に、いろいろなやり方がでてきて、

私もびっくりします。


"Authentic indigo dyeing・・・・"

caught my mind.

When I searched indigo dyeing, there were so many results of how-to indigo dyeing.

That made me surprised.

私は、幸運にも

本藍染矢野工場で藍染が出来ることに

改めて感謝しました。


I am so lucky to learn about indigo dyeing at

Hon Aizome Yano Kojo.

I appreciated it again.
